Thanks for the replies. I guess it depends on how you classify friends. Friends to me have always been people I trust, but to someone else they might just be people you can talk to. Thanks. You’ve given me something to think about.

I think it’s really too different from person to person. It just depends on the way people relate to each other. There are people I wouldn’t trust to, say, look after me if I got drunk, or help me if I was in trouble, but I’m still friends with them. In their case, I enjoy their company, but I make sure I don’t ever have to rely on them.

Hmm, a good question. I have to agree that trust is the number one factor. Without trust how can you rely on them? How can you talk to them? I guess because all my friends own some part of me (they don’t know this, and I mean metaphorically) I need to trust them not to destroy that part.

What makes a good friendship??????….I’ll say it has to have 3 major values: Respect, Trust, and Loyalty. You can’t have a good frienship if you don’t have these values because these values work hand in hand together, without respect how can you trust? without trust how can you be loyal? right? its just how people treat each one and become comfortable with one another. when you love your friend and believe in your friendhsip, Trust can’t be counted. (well, i can say for the rest) I do have a lot of friends BUT I CHOOSE MY FRIENDS,that way i don’t get scared that my trust won’t be trampled and i give my all because i know their my TRUE friends.

BTW: I LOVE LADY GAGA TOO!!! hahaha!! From HER hairdo down to her shoes!

Oh, by the way, Beat It makes me want to tap my feet so much more. I don’t spend too much time beating it, though, otherwise you get friction burns.
